Program Description

Lets get ready to ROCK CLIMB!

The next adventure we will embark on, in order to continue our journey of learning what it means to be a good team member, is outdoor rock climbing. No matter where your students are from anxious, to pumped to reach the top, we will have opportunities for everyone to challenge themselves at their level. 

There will be a hike around 1 mile in to reach the climb site. A rough itinerary for the program will look as follows:

10am - Opening Circle/ Goal Talk

10:30- Hike In

11:30- Climbing

12:30- Picnic Lunch/Continue Climbing

1:30pm- Site Clean Up

2:00pm- Hike Out/Closing Circle

3:00pm- Goodbye

We will meet in the parking lot of the Hub outdoor gear store.

Time: 10am-3pm

What to Wear/Bring: 

• Long pants are typically best for comfort and protection when outdoor rock climbing.
• Dress in layers on top. (an athletic breathable shirt, with a sweatshirt or fleece, and a coat that can be added or taken off as needed to match the weather.) 
• Hat and Gloves ( While we are waiting for our turn to climb we may be sitting still. If it is cold out you will be thankful to have some extra layers.)
• Closed Toe shoes good for hiking
• Sun Protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
• Backpack (for water and extra layers ect.)
• Book or fidget if needed to help with waiting for turns
• Packed lunch 
• Waterbottle (with water inside!)
