Program Description
Join Waypoint Adventure for a social event bringing together people with disabilities, their families and friends, and members of our community right here in Black Mountain, North Carolina!
These socials are designed to be an easy first step into the Waypoint community—offering people of all abilities a chance to connect and meet others without the larger time or travel commitment of a full adventure program. Come join a Social to experience Waypoint in a more casual, after-hours setting: meet the team, learn more about programming, ask any questions you have in-person, check out our office, enjoy an activity and snacks, and maybe leave with a new friend!
December's Social is "Winter Holiday" This will be an evening filled with ornament decorating, holiday movies, hot chocolate and sweet treats, and staying warm and cozy (pajamas and comfy clothing encouraged!) together at the Waypoint office in Black Mountain from 5-7pm. Join us for a relaxing evening of connection, movies, arts and crafts, and good food.

Conditions
This event will take place inside the temperature-controlled Black Mountain office. It is wheelchair accessible.
Transportation
Waypoint will not be providing transportation. Give us a call if transportation is an issue and we will do everything we can to help!
Bathrooms
There are accessible bathrooms at Old Town District right next door.
