Hike Description
Waypoint Adventure will be guiding an accessible hike for people with disabilities. We will be meeting at the Lake James State Park Visitor Center and we will be hiking the Fonta Flora State Trail. This is an out and back hike, approximately 2 miles. We are hiking a portion of the trail, not the whole thing. Waypoint Adventure has a variety of off-road hiking wheelchairs to accommodate you if needed. Once registered, we will be in touch to discuss specific needs and accommodations.

You will follow signs towards the Lake James Visitor Center. There will also be green Waypoint signs directing you to the right spot.
What to Bring
Accommodations and equipment can be made by special request, please email or call Waypoint at least one week before the date of the trip to make arrangements.
Conditions
This out and back trail is a relatively flat hike with some views of Lake James.
Transportation
Waypoint will not be providing transportation.
Bathrooms
Accessible bathroom is located at the visitor center.
