Program Description
Waypoint Adventure will be guiding an accessible outdoor climbing program that will provide a supportive and challenging environment to beginners and experienced climbers alike. This program will meet next to the Chimney Rock Gift shop to get started. The climb site is a short walk around the corner from the bathrooms. During this program, you will be encouraged to confront your limitations and attain your goals, all within the framework of discovery and fun! Waypoint will provide adaptive equipment, personal instruction, ample climbing time, and trained staff who will support and instruct.

The bridge over the river to turn into the parks main entrance shifted slightly due to hurricane Helene. They have done a good job with signs in town making sure you are pointed to the new bridge. Pay attention to those as you are coming through the town of Chimney Rock and approaching your turn. (it is only feet from the old bridge so even if you pass it-it will not be hard to turn around) When you arrive in the park and make it to the pay station, tell them you are there for Waypoint Programing. From there you will drive to the very top of the park and meet us next to the gift shop. Look for Waypoint truck/van or tent.

The climbing site is around the corner from the gift shop right past the bathrooms near the picnic tables.
Transportation
Waypoint will not be providing transportation.
Bathrooms
Accessible restrooms are located across from the Chimney Rock gift shop.
