Hike Description
This is a two-part adventure! We will start with an accessible hike on the Upper Profile Trail. A variety of off-road hiking wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment will be available to accommodate you if needed. Note: Due to trail conditions we can only accommodate 2 off-road wheelchair users on this hike. If you need one please sign-up using the Participant (Adaptive Equipment Needed)label. Once registered, we will be in touch to discuss specific needs and accommodations. We will follow the trail for about 1.5 miles down to the stream. We will rest and marvel by the water and rock features before heading back on our return journey.
After crushing the hike, we will load up and head from the State Park to the Grandfather Mountain Attraction. Here, if you choose, we can experience the mile high swinging bridge and soak in those magnificent mountain views this lovely park is known for!

This is a 3 mile round trip out and back trail. We will hike downhill to hang out by the creek and uphill on the return. The trail is fairly wide, packed dirt with gravel. There are a few stone staircases to navigate. We will take our time and lean on our teammates for support.
