Hike Description
Waypoint Adventure will be guiding an accessible hike for people with disabilities. We will be hiking the Catawba Falls River Trail in Pisgah National Forest in Old Fort, NC. This is an out and back hike, approximately 2.3 miles. Waypoint Adventure has a variety of off-road hiking wheelchairs to accommodate you if needed. Once registered, we will be in touch to discuss specific needs and accommodations.

Accommodations and equipment can be made by special request, please email or call Waypoint at least one week before the date of the trip to make arrangements.
Conditions
This is a relatively flat hike with some slight up hill hiking in toward the falls. This trail takes you to Catawba Waterfall and the headwaters of the Catawba River. This hike does have one small stream crossing. There is a large parking lot right at the trailhead. Historic buildings dating back to the 1920s are along the trail.
Transportation
Waypoint will not be providing transportation.
Bathrooms
Accessible restrooms are located in the parking lot.
