Hike Description
Waypoint Adventure will be guiding an accessible hike for people with disabilities. Enjoy a hike at South Mountain State Park on the River Trail. This is an out and back hike, approximately 1 mile round trip. Waypoint Adventure has a variety of off-road hiking wheelchairs to accommodate you if needed. Once registered, we will be in touch to discuss specific needs and accommodations.

When driving into the State Park you will pass the visitors center on your right. Keep going on the main park road. All trailhead parking is off of this road. Drive until you see signs for the Family Campground as well as green Waypoint signs directing you to the parking lot.

Accommodations and equipment can be made by special request, please email or call Waypoint at least one week before the date of the trip to make arrangements.
Conditions
This is both a beautiful and beginner friendly hike in South Mountain State Park. A mostly flat, out and back trail, will guide us along the Jacob Fork river.
Transportation
Waypoint will not be providing transportation.
Bathrooms
Accessible restrooms are located at the visitor center and Jacob Fork trailhead.
