Hike Description

Waypoint Adventure will be guiding an accessible hike for people with disabilities. We will hike the High Falls Loop total 3.1 miles. We will have a picnic lunch break together halfway through. Based on the needs of registrants, hiking length may change. Waypoint Adventure has a variety of off-road hiking wheelchairs to accommodate if needed. Once registered, we will be in touch to discuss specific needs and accommodations.

Once you enter the park, follow our Green Waypoint Adventure directional signs. We will meet in the DuPont State Recreational Forest Visitor Center parking lot.

What to Bring

Accommodations and equipment can be made by special request, please email or call Waypoint at least one week before the date of the trip to make arrangements.

Conditions

This moderate hiking trail takes you along the Little River to see High Falls and Triple Falls. This trail is wide majority of the time making it easy to pass others. The surrounding forest consist of evergreens and a variety of hardwoods. 


Transportation

Waypoint will not be providing transportation.


Bathrooms

Accessible restrooms are located in the parking lot.
