Hike Description
The North Carolina Arboretum offers acres of cultivated gardens and miles of trails featuring some of the most beautiful, botanically-diverse plants in the region. The arboretum has had a recent gaggle of magical visitors and we are setting out together to go find and meet them all! This is a 1.5 to 2 mile hike on a variety of terrain from some paved paths, to mulched paths, to rocky gravel terrain. It is relatively flat with some mild up and down hills.
We will enjoy a picnic lunch together before ending our hike with a classic Waypoint closing circle.

Upon arriving at the Arboretum, inform the gate agent that you are here for a Waypoint Adventure program. They will then waive you through. We will meet at the Baker Exhibit Center. If you drive straight through the gate, the first parking lot you come to will be the correct one. It is large and should have plenty of accessible and non accessible parking spaces.
