Program Description: This outdoor kayaking program is accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Enjoy the fun and serenity of Lake James State Park all while being part of a supportive community. All participants will be in a tandem kayak and paired with an experienced paddler. Our highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you meet new people, learn new skills, or further develop your existing ones. If you are new to Waypoint, upon sign-up, a staff member will reach out via phone to introduce themselves, answer any questions and/or concerns, and better understand the supports we can offer to make this adventure a success. We can not wait to paddle with you!

Go past the turn for the Lake James Visitors Center. Follow the road to the end to Paddy's Creek Recreation area. There is a large parking lot and you should see a Waypoint vehicle. Look for the green Waypoint signs to follow as well.
