Program Description

This will be a 2 hour 1:1 paddle session on beautiful Lake James. We will explore different equipment and paddling techniques as well as soak up some peaceful time on the water.

Conditions: 

Lake James is a beautiful, large, man-made lake. There are many coves along the shoreline to explore. We will limit most wide lake crossings, especially if there are any high winds. The parking lot is large and paved with stairs and a ramp leading down to the lake. Our launch site is a nice sandy beach.

 

Bathrooms

There are accessible bathrooms near the boat launch and parking area. They are pit toilets with no running water.
