Program Description:
This outdoor kayaking program is designed specifically for those who lead or work at agencies serving people with disabilities. Let the roles be reversed—this time, you're the participant! Enjoy the fun and serenity of Lake James State Park as Waypoint staff guide you on an inclusive adventure. It's a chance to relax, connect with others in the field, and learn how Waypoint Adventure's programs can complement your agency’s mission. Most participants will be in tandem kayaks, paired with another attendee. No paddling experience is necessary—our highly trained staff will instruct, support, and encourage you as you learn new skills or build on existing ones.
